Hello, and welcome to our Guide to Winter Wellbeing!
As the days continue to shorten and we move deeper into winter we are delighted to be offering our online Guide to Winter Wellbeing. The guide will include a monthly instalment of nature-infused self-care tips and advice with the aim of supporting mental and physical wellbeing throughout the colder, darker months ahead. We will also be offering suggestions for things to look out for this winter within your local places of nature.
Throughout the year the natural world provides us with familiar patterns and rhythms that signify each shift in season. The seasons offer us important markers of time in our lives and much of what we experience within ourselves can often be reflected back to us in the natural world. We hope that by participating in the guide to winter wellbeing you might feel inspired to embrace and participate more fully in the winter months ahead.
For many of us this winter will feel very different as we approach this change in season with some level of trepidation and uncertainty caused by the pandemic. Supporting our immune systems feels even more crucial this year and by weaving some more self-care practices into our daily routine we can keep ourselves energized and resourced for what lies ahead.

There are lots of small ways we can take of ourselves and others during the winter months. Local Brecon based illustrator Jess Hinsley kindly helped us to put together a few suggestions to help boost mental & physical wellbeing. You are welcome to download this lovely A3 fold up poster which can be found in the Guide to Winter Wellbeing drop down menu.
